What DID we do all day? : Continent Boxes

As of today's date (12/3/11) I have been using continent boxes in our home learning environment for almost two years and still haven't finished posting about all of them. I will get on that and add the links here as I do!

My Boys' Teacher

I am the mother of two boys who "go to school" at home. 'Kal-El' is now SEVEN-years-old as of December 2012. 'Me Too' turned five in June 2012.

This blog is my attempt to document our progress implementing Montessori Elementary at home. If you would like to read about our Montessori Primary journey, I invite you to peruse the archives. You can find the very first post I ever wrote here, or at any time in the right-hand sidebar.

Socialization Myth

There have been two studies (that I know of) to date that have looked at the "socialization" of adults who were home-educated as children. Both studies determined that the home-educated were more socially engaged than those schooled outside the home.

The two studies are the following:
